Rubéa Perfume
This was a personal project where I explored fluid simulations and art direction without any client constraints. About a year ago, I modeled a perfume bottle and wanted to use it in something more complex. Then one day while picking raspberries in the garden, I thought about combining the two into an animation.
I modeled the raspberry in my free time and decided to place everything in a canyon-like environment with dry, rocky cliffs. The terrain needed work, the product placement had to feel right, and I wanted to figure out a believable way for the raspberry to transform into perfume. The pyro effects around the pebbles holding the raspberries were mostly an excuse to practice simulations, even though they're fairly basic.
Having no client requirements meant I could experiment with whatever I wanted and take the project in any direction. That said, I'm looking forward to working with new clients and bringing their ideas to life.
